Air Serbia has established one-stop air connections between Belgrade and the United States following a codeshare expansion with airberlin. Under the codeshare agreement, Air Serbia places its flight code on 28 weekly services operated by airberlin between its Berlin and Dusseldorf hubs and 3 key US cities, New York, Chicago and Miami.

Air Serbia will launch scheduled long-haul direct flights to New York in June 2016, reconnecting the Serbian capital of Belgrade to the United States.
