You will find her below a communication from the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators.
To All Foreign Tour Operator Partners and potential Visitors to Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is open for your next Holiday !!
As the apex body responsible for Destination Management Services in Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan Association of lnbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) is pleased to announce that ‘Destination Sri Lanka’ is open for tourism, with minimum protocols. The relaxed protocols do not require visitors to quarantine at all, once on our shores. The only requirement for fully vaccinated visitors, is a negative PCR result within 72 hours prior to their arrival. Those that are not fully vaccinated require a PCR test on arrival and are permitted to tour the Island in a bio bubble. They can move into the community subject to a negative PCR result on day seven of their travels.
With no travel restriction whatsoever on the ground, fully vaccinated visitors are free to tour the Island as they did in pre-covid times. All hotels, restaurants, tourist sites from cultural sites to wildlife parks, are open to visitors. The quick and easy online ETA facility is back for all travelers, as well as the on-arrival visa facility for some.
The members of our association are ready and eager to welcome visitors from around the world, to our Island Home. We will ensure that all visitors tour Sri Lanka safely and securely, without any restrictions. Standard social distancing practices will be in place.
We look forward to providing all visitors with a safe and memorable experience on their next visit to Sri
