Croatia Airlines, the national air carrier of the Republic of Croatia and member of Star Alliance, began its development in the year 1991. Its priority is to provide its customers with optimum connections between Croatia and the world via its own flights and flights of its partners, and contribute to the development of tourism in the Republic of Croatia. Since the first flight in 1991 until today, Croatia Airlines' aircraft have transported a total of 32,758,000 passengers, more than 22,670,000 of which have been passengers on international flights, and about 10,085,000 on flights within Croatia.
The fleet comprises thirteen aircraft: four Airbus 319s (capacity 144 seats), two Airbus 320s (capacity 174 seats), six turboprop Dash 8-Q400s (capacity 76 seats) and a Fokker 100, which is on loan during the summer season (capacity 109 seats).
Croatia Airlines directly connects the Republic of Croatia with 35 European destinations in 21 countries, as well as with eight Croatian airports (Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Zadar, Pula, Osijek, Rijeka and Bol on the Island of Brač).
