Croatia Airlines, the national carrier of the Republic of Croatia and member of Star Alliance, began its development in the year 1991. The fleet comprises fourteen aircraft: four Airbus 319s (capacity 144 seats), two Airbus 320s (capacity 174 seats), six turboprop Dash 8-Q400s (capacity 76 seats) and, during the summer season, two leased CRJ1000 aircraft (100 seats capacity).
Croatia Airlines directly connects the Republic of Croatia with 39 destinations in 23 European countries, with the capital of Zagreb connected with seven Croatian airports (Split, Dubrovnik, Zadar, Pula, Rijeka, Osijek and Brač).
